A Thoughtful Approach to Marketing

Hi, I’m Ali

I work with business owners and leadership teams who have reached the point where marketing decisions feel heavier than they should.

Maybe the team is growing. Maybe marketing spend is increasing. Or maybe things simply feel more complicated than they used to.

As a Fractional CMO, I help bring structure and clarity to marketing so leadership teams can move forward with confidence.

How I ended up here

I have spent more than 16 years working in marketing roles across very different industries including insurance, nonprofit, restaurants, and technology.

Each role gave me a different view of how businesses grow and how marketing supports that growth. Over time, I found myself drawn less to individual campaigns and more to the bigger questions.

How should marketing be structured?
Where should the budget go?
What role should marketing play in the business?

Why Thoughtful Growth Marketing

I chose the name Thoughtful Growth Marketing intentionally.

Throughout my career I saw how quickly marketing could become reactive. New ideas, new channels, and constant pressure to “do more.”

Thoughtful growth is about stepping back and making sure marketing effort actually supports the direction of the business before adding more activity.

My Story

My career spans more than 16 years across brand, growth, and performance marketing.

I spent over a decade at Raising Cane’s leading regional marketing through community partnerships,

Later I moved into high growth tech as Growth Director at hampr, where my role expanded into operational leadership.

Outside of client work, I serve as a marketing consultant with the Louisiana Small Business Development Center and mentor entrepreneurs through Opportunity Machine. I am also a proud member of Leadership Lafayette Class XXXIX.

My Roots

At home, life revolves around my husband Corey, our three kids Lilian, Aiden, and Carter, and our dog Emmie.

Most evenings and weekends you can find us somewhere around a sports field. Soccer, baseball, softball, football, and even the occasional pickleball match keep our calendar full.

When we get the chance to travel, Colorado has become our second home. Whether we are skiing down a mountain or riding bikes through the trails, being outdoors and surrounded by nature is our favorite way to reset.

South Louisiana will always be where our roots run deep. We are proud Cajuns, and family, faith, great food, and genuine hospitality are a big part of how we live our lives. And of course, Saturdays in the fall are reserved for LSU football.

Living in Lafayette, often called the Happiest City in America, is something we are proud of. It is the kind of community where relationships matter, and that sense of connection shows up in both life and business.

My Process

Marketing works best when there is clarity before action. My process follows a clear, phased approach designed to bring clarity first, then move toward execution in a way that fits the business’s current state.
